Dream Big!

The words “Dream Big” have been like the sound of reoccurring bells ringing in my head from day to day. When I meditate on the two words, they are words of encouragement and I hear 1 Corinthians 2:9. It states, “That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him” (NLT). Even my most grandiose thoughts and desires still does not match the grandeur of our Abba Father and what He has in store for me and you. Take the Limits Off.

Even as a child, I have always been a dreamer in every sense of the word. Many of my dreams have been Dreams from God. Yes, God speaks through dreams and the good news is that everyone dreams. One of the most vivid ways in which he does speaks to me is dreams.

I have gained so much from my God dreams. I have gained God’s direction for my life concerning destiny and purpose. Jeremiah 29:11 states, “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope” (NLT). His plan is always above and beyond my own dreams and ambitions.

His plan is better because there is always direction, provision, and passion to see it through. Therefore, if you are going to dream, dream big with God. He is faithful to keep His promise. As it relates to His children, He has a plan tailor- made for each one of us and often is revealed as we dream and seek Him. Philippians 1:6 states, “And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns” (NLT). Dream Big!
